Event with najell
The event started with mingling and non-alcoholic bubbles. Then Najell introduced their products. It was interesting for me to see as I sometimes wee parents bring Najell’s products to the postnatal ward.
A lot has happened on the baby accessory market in Sweden since I hade my first child. There were limited options, I don’t think pregnancy pillows existed. I made my own breastfeeding pillow and used it as a “pregnancy pillow” my second and third pregnancies as I needed to sleep sitting up because of heartburn.
Then it was my turn to talk. I had been given kind of free rein so I hade prepared a presentation called “Jag tar det som det kommer.” which translates into “I will take it as it comes.” The focus here was to highlight the importance of preparing not just for birth but postpartum as well. I had prepared my presentation in Swedish but quickly had to switch to English, luckily I’m used to this from Hypnobirthing.
After me it was time for Bethany to do a short pregnancy yoga session using Najell’s pregnancy pillow instead of a bolster. I love this idea! Good to know that hte pregnancy pillow is not just a pregnancy pillow, it can be used as a breastfeeding pillow and a yoga bolster! Gotta love a multi purpose item.
The evening ended with some food and mingling. A very nice evening!
Of course I had to try the products!
I loved this pre-wrapped baby wrap. It’s like wearing a shirt that you place your baby in. I had this long elastic wrap for my sons as newborns, but it took some time to figure out. This option seems so much easier!
Thank you to everyone who showed up! And thank you to Najell for hosting!
I was gifted a pregnancy pillow of my own, I’m actually using it in bed as I’m writing this. I am guessing once my kids discover it I will have to fight hard for it!
